Someone left a comment on one of my pics that got me thinking about what my life saying and deviantART sig means to me. It was a good comment, so I am not ranting here.
This is, in fact, a credo. Look up that word if you want to know what it means- I'm not about to define it. To me, this saying says, "You need to be true to yourself before all others. If you are not true to yourself, how can you be true to your family, wife or girlfriend, friends, your religion. If you lie to yourself about everything, how truthful are you to those around you? Lying gets you nowhere, and the truth shall set you free. Cliche's I know, but still true nonetheless." With that said, this is my life saying. One of many things I run my life by. And by doing so, I have awesome friends, deviants and non-deviants, and a wonderful wife. Give it a try and see what I mean. To Thine Own Self Be True. And I would like to thank William Shakespeare for giving that saying to us. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments. The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art.
