Snowscape 01.
Commissioned by the San Diego Civic Youth Ballet (SDCYB) to make a new backdrop during the Snow scene during The Nutcracker.
This is one out of 6 designs. But this one wasn't chosen to be the backdrop. The final design will be posted after the show opens so that those who can come have to see it in person
Based on Hume Lake (www.humelake.org), where I vacation every summer. Added trees to where the lake is supposed to be, and the mountains are stylized. Plus, I've never been there during winter, and only have pictures to go off of
