SDCYB Banner- Merlitons 02

At one point in the Brainstorm Phase, I brought up banners that could be sigils or coats of arms for the different "lands" that dance for Clara.
I used the traditional Nutcracker story as inspiration, and what we typically do for each dance.
Merlitons Dance
Traditional- Marzipan.
SDCYB- Candy Cane, but the costumes alternate each year. Mostly red & white for the past couple years.
Note: Unlike Chinese, I knew exactly what to do for this one. I ignored the Traditional Marzipan sweet concept. A chunk of white candy isn't going to go well no matter what But our group has been doing more Candy Cane themed costumes. They even had long, slender candy canes in place of the Reed Flutes that most people use. We also do not do the Shepherdess theme. It was clear to me that candy cane & peppermint were needed THIS VERSION: M is for Merliton!!! I like this one more

So far, these have yet to be implemented in our production. There is talk about using them in the lobby or in a new Marquee sign.
That said, that does NOT mean that these are available for use!!!
