My Job

Inspired at work one time:
I've been doing theatre close to 10 years now. You'd think I know what I'm doing. I've been at my current job around a year & a half.
We have parents volunteer to help with the sets- building, painting, and he have volunteers at strike (when the show closes). All of the parents get to know me, some really well, others not so much.
This one mom knew who I was, what I did there, how I did it, and how well. She is on the committee board ( I guess ), and had a kid in the show. But she is not a part of the theatre community past that. But because she was on the board, she thought that she could tell me what I needed to do to the set to finish it. Without looking at the model or the plans and without talking to anybody, let a long the designer, director, or tech director. She thought she was helping, but she had no idea what was really going on that day. I ended up giving her a slight attitude, as she was interrupting (to see how I feel about interruption, visit my gallery) and insulting my intelligence.
Nice lady though.
This one is for anyone who has had a no-talent ass-clown tell you how to do your job on their first day.
